Wasn't happy with the edge out of the box on my LW (G10 was fine) but after a few minutes on the Venev 800 diamond stone it was tree topping and whittling just the way I like em. :D

I´ve never even tried to reach such an high level of sharpness on a knife and doubt very much that I could... :o

Reprofiled by hand using a Diamond Triangle, then added a 15° microbevel. She ain't pretty, but she sure is sharp.

First attempt at a reprofile.

I can't either with the Sharpmaker but with a relatively sharp knife it doesn't take much effort on a bench stone. The trick is to not let them get too dull and then just use a bench stone like a strop.

Hanging out in the house today so I have my 'fancy' Chap in the pocket today...
