Michael Janich custom Endura or “Jandura” as they’re called.

GB2
:spyder: Image :spyder:
Holy cow look at that edge! I carried my gb2 today also. But I’m sure yours is a much better slicer than mine. Wow!
I have to admit this is a new used for me! The previous owner really knew their stuff. I did touch it up on my Spydie Ultra fine stone and it gave it almost a mirror edge. This GB2 went straight to the top of my EDC carry! And I think it's beautiful so I posted a pic.

Thanks for the comment @PStone.

Been using this knife exclusively since this past Saturday (besides yesterday) Back in the pocket today. I'm finally starting to really use a particular knife/steel for a week straight at work instead of flip flopping everyday. Trying to really see what models and steels I truly prefer based on use, then same goes for sharpening at the end of the week. This 20CV has been holding up great! I wipe it clean each day after work, but haven't touched it up or anything. Still slicing paper cleanly after cutting quite a bit of cardboard/strapping/rope/banding this week. I know my sharpening skills have vastly improved the past year or so, so I feel like now is the time to give these steels some work and compare them from a clean slate.

No shame in that game! It’s yours now. You scored a nice one. I see that the heel of that edge was cleaned up where it meets the plunge line. Mine has a bit of a micro-recurve from the factory. I’m going to try and do mine like yours. The cutout mod is a little beyond my level though. Again, nice score! :spyder:
