Didn’t get a chance to take a photo in the daylight, but man is this knife awesome. Can’t wait to get some Micarta on it. I feel like I don’t carry it as much as I’d like to because of the grey G10 - just a bit boring for me.
Yet another knife on my radar…she’s a beauty…not boring to me and the Lynch feather clip is sweet!!! Course micarta does make you happy😉

Hey Vivi, glad you´re back!!! :smlling-eyes

Your knowledge and contributions have been missed, hope you´ll be more active again.

(And if they ever come out with a Manix 2 XL SALT I am sure you´ll start "collecting" again, right? ;) )
I dunno, I stopped carrying aything but my "rastasalt." Don't even feel inclined to carry my Pacific 2's these days. If Spyderco came out with a Stretch XL salt, Manix 2 XL LW salt, Military salt and Police salt tomorrow, I'm not even sure I'd buy one.

I'll check reveals and see if they come up with something to make me eat my words. As it is I stocked up on Aqua Salt and Pacific 1's and I'm slowly purging most the others.

Glad all is well with you either way. Was excited to see you back!

Thanks Vivi, yes I came back to here just a few days after you seemingly "left" and pretty soon missed your comments and presence, so I am also glad now that you're doing fine !

/ So for the time being you actually managed to achieve what I guess many, including me, started out once: Finding "the" one and only folder for everything?
I still think of getting to this point too myself and stick with only one Spydie. Technically I could of course, and it would most likely also be some kind of endura-ish knife. Just can't bring myself to follow through "emotionally"... ;)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

One and done? Not me…takes the fun out of it…if I had to maybe 6/7 and done…would have to be a favorite large/medium/small/all rounder edc/grail/fixed blade type thing but still would be hard…then there would be some latest greatest steel or sprint temptation come along and that would be tough

Well, back to the Stretch XL SE again, as I knew it would be inevitable anyway.
For me currently the best "regular duty" EDC folder I am aware of.

/ Also inevitable: To have some mountain(s) in sight, wherever one might be inside my hometown of Salzburg.
I just need this (that the mountains are always there and visible) in my life in order to feel good :smlling-eyes.
And so there is a mountain in the very background of the pic too (also shows that Salzburg is not "pretty and scenic" everywhere, the building in the background happens to be the tax office btw. Luckily I rarely have business with them ;) )

I haven't picked up one of my Autonomy's in over a month, and I have to say I really miss them. If Spyderco would make more knives with the Plunge Lock and different steels I might only buy automatics in the future.

Also check out how it stands up like a Counter Puppy without the edge touching. So awesome.

Embarrassed to say this - I never paid attention to the stretch xl but after seeing a lot of people saying how awesome they are I’m moving it up my list…looks super comfortable and even though I like all size knives the 3.5”+ blades are my favorite…now it’s #3 behind Pacific H2 SE and another Siren…that Autonomy is moving up as well 👊
