Y'all are making me want a chef!
I didn't think it would be so good as an EDC, but almost two months in and it's seen more pocket time than the M4 Millie (though the meh factory edge still on the C36 plays a role in that).

Not exactly in my pocket today, but it's in my hand to examine. It arrived with my Swayback...
Image
It's larger than I typically carry for a belt knife (the Guardian3 for size ref), but the grind feels actually pretty thin bte for such a big knife. I bet it'll be a great slicer/camp knife. It's also a bit large in the handle for my hands, although the contoured scales do feel really nice. I'm undecided what I'm going to do with this one. It's an absolutely gorgeous knife, but maybe not quite right for me.

Nice regrind! The Cara Cara 2 Emerson comes FFG, I'm curious if the Endura Emerson will eventually get the FFG. I'm sure the sabre grind is intentional since that's what Emerson uses.

The Sabre grind on the Emerson Endura is butt ugly to me. I bought one years ago and hated it, sold it. Bla The Delica and the Dragonfly aren't that ugly.

I saw this dagger swedge regrind and loved it. Couldn't find a commission for it though.
I was super happy to catch this Krein regrind. Makes all the difference.

SPY27 Para3 LW today. Got it for a bouta week now. It keeps cutting, gets crazy sharp. It’s just a lightweight edc, so no crazy hard jobs so far. But last weekend I sharpened somesticks when doing gardening around my cabin, opened some big garden soil bags, cut a lot of string. Sharpening on fine and ultrafine stones was quick and easy, it’s a good steel. So far can’t see a major difference vs S35VN in my Native 5 LW but it’s surely keeping edge better than any VG10 I owned. Like it a lot. And what a lovely color! Non-threatening, easy to find in grass/foliage, easy to conceal in jeans.

Not really a slipjoint, but its neodymium magnet makes it act like one.

Smoothest Spydie I own; smoother than my Rock Jumper, smoother than my Sage3.

Finally got my hands on the SpydieChef. I've wanted this knife for a long time. CQI is a bonus. My first titanium frame lock. Ofcourse it's right handed but I'm a lefty, still love it.

Seems silly but it's a grail of mine. (Plus it's not very cheap in Canada, at over $350) I got pretty lucky on the knifeswap. Chefs seem to go quick everytime.

Hopefully you get it sooner rather then later. It's very well built, smooth action perfect centering. I was kind of iffy just because of the whole TI frame lock (right handed) thing. Glad I got over it, and got lucky. Not to mention - it is just so lovely looking.

Whenever lightest weight is not a concern (and in 99% of the cases it is not for me) this is a perfect hiking knife.
Best lock for that application and the long edge comes in handy...:)
