I feel like you pretty much have this carry, but swap the Shaman for a Manix and the LT for a Bradford, lol.

Speaking of, I’d love to try a Guardian 3 sometime.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Nice! That looks fantastic. I love skiing under a full moon. I'm envious as I haven't gotten out skiing since mid December.
It really was.
I hope you the chance as well. Is it poor snow conditions holding you back, or just priorities/not enough time?
We've had good to very good CC conditions since early December, so that's been great, but unfortunately every time we've had a dump of powder I've been caught up in other stuff, so lots of CC, but no rando/ski touring or off piste so far.

Thanks!

We had a couple really good early season CC days... then we had a warm and rainy spell. We're back to winter conditions again, but life has been busy. Hopefully we all get out ski touring for the next powder dump!

New knife day, my very first CE. Ever.
Also, Day of the Sámi People. To honor the day I brushed the dust off my first sámi knife and gave it a quick sharpening. This one has seen some use.

Awesome Aicolainen! I love Puuko's and Leuku's although I'll confess I haven't managed to get a Leuku yet. Definitely a gap in my collection. The Saami people definitely knew what knives worked in their environment and honestly it's hard to improve on the formula of a small knife and a large knife.

For sand it's great, and it's more than decent in mud, too. Snow too, so I hear. I have to tell you though, for typical riding scenarios anything else is better.

Having said that, I do see a lot of people riding rental fatbikes slowly along the seawall, so they must be okay for just cruising around. That's just never what I do. Maybe I ought to try it... retired, living in a resort town... Nah.
