Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Got my Maxamet today. Really like the gray, even if it it's not translucent ;) Gave it a deep carry Foundry clip after some etching action. Now I'm just looking for stuff to cut...

Well spotted :)

The Blue scales started out life on a 2006 Sprint ZDP189 ,but I swapped the Hap40 blade as soon as I got it .
Here is a pic immediately after the swap .
I've never carried the Burnt Orange ZDP189 knife and probably never will , but the Blue Hap40 is a favorite that sees quite a bit of action .

There's something special about those ol' blue ZDP Delica scales! ;) I swapped my Super Blue blade into mine last year :)

Image

FYI for anyone looking to grab a set of scales like this: this older blue ZDP Delica is near impossible to find these days, and if you do they'll be pricey. A more recent Delica offering with very nearly the same color FRN was the recent Kahr Arms exclusive. These are slightly more easy to find and will not command fully insane prices yet.

(As for my HAP40s? One blade swapped into a G10 Delica and another into a set of Casey Lynch Ti scales ;))
