What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Yeaaa...I'm probably going to be contacting guy once I look him back up, for those scales. Will be the ultimate classy carry for me! Those look so nice, he did a great job on them!

Wow! That completely changed my perception on the Watu.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Love the scales too... there were several pics of wooden Watu scales by this maker already, some with, some without the holes. All beautiful! :)

You´re pretty well equipped for almost any folder-task that might come up today I´d say...

Thank you! I was able to order a small yellow just now. Definitely wish I could’ve scored one of those Jack o’ lantern ones though. Anyways, thank you very much!aicolainen wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 4:21 pmhttps://zerofeud.myshopify.com/
As far as I understand, they drop with some irregularity, and often with a new twist each time.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Beautiful... at some point in time I´ll have one of these (with similar handle scales)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks and I noticed that too after taking the photo but there doesn't seem to be any lasting effects on the blade. I think it may have just been visible moisture on the blade from being in my pocket.
Thanks! It was almost surreal! I took this picture on a road going through a huge field of lowbush blueberries that was changing colors with the seasons. Coupled with the sunset it was just awesome see an enormous field of pure red.Featherblade wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 3:01 pmMushroom wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 11:59 amHad the Straight Spine Stretch with me for a motorcycle camping trip through the downeast Maine area this weekend. The fall foliage was near its peak and the colors were incredible!

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I had something very, very special happen today in my personal life, and it felt right carrying this knife for my first time
It has one of the sharpest factory edges I've ever seen. Hair whittling sharp, pops off arm hairs without touching my skin.
Only question is whether I should leave it stock or dye it a dark green. I've always wanted a black and green Manix. I like the natural G10 but I expect I'll end up dying it sometime down the road.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Even though I really liked the design of the Watu I almost passed on it because CF seemed like an odd choice for the knife based on its design inspiration. When I saw the wood scales I couldn't resist grabbing a set.
Today's carry

Nice!!! One I think I've seen one other time around here. Was very tempted by it for a while a couple years ago. Nice to see one in the wild.

At one point each of my new knives has to pose for that climbing gym shot...
