Like always with new knives I test and use the Tenacious in as many capacities as possible - did a lot of woodwork, food prep, cardboard slicing and so on already...

It is not like I´d have never, ever thrown a folder (NOT recommended at all!), but certainly this is the one task I DON`T test new knives in... ;) - also not the Tenacious, it was just in my pocket, while dedicated blades got thrown... :)

This knife keeps impressing me... I think my Manix LW in BD1N will have to go for it, in order to keep my collection (rather a bunch of users) as slim as I like it to be.

Thanks for all the info, Wartstein! I'd really like to add a Tenacious lw to my collection, hopefully before this summer. And those throwers look sweet - well-loved and well-used!

I´ll post a lot more infos soon - hopefully ;)
This knife deserves detailed first impressions (and perhaps even a "review light" since I´ve used it quite a bit already)

/ Definitely get one!

The long cutting edge in the very compact package is so nice, and for me the Tenacious shows again how good a linerlock really is . especially in such a sturdy, un-flexy handle. Used the knife with rather thick mittens today - no problem at all.

Another thing that´s nice: The not nested liners allow for very easy to do custom scales, I even think about making wooden ones myself for the Tenacious. Since those would be just slabs of wood put on the scales, but no real precision work necessary (like it would be when the liners where nested) this could be fun to try! :)

/ Tenacious again in my pocket on todays hike :)

Ever since I put this back in my pocket I haven't felt like carrying anything else. Its a great warm weather EDC for me with the DLC coated stainless. I've come to prefer the tip down clip over tip up for IWB too.

Should have a new Chief coming in the mail tomorrow, wonder if I'll still end up carrying the Millie.....
