Today's companion to the Torino.
It certainly IS a great knife and worth the hazzle and stress many had to go through in order to get one... :)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

It sure is a nice knife. Very well done. Did you manage to snag one?
I had very little hassle getting one, thanks to one of our forum members. :) As a matter of fact, I had a couple opportunities to buy one from different vendors.

Glad you got one! :)

No, I did not even try.
Would have been probably really hard from Europe anyway and while I think it is just an amazing piece I had the clear impression that others where more determined and eager to get one than I would have been.
I actually do like the S30V model a lot too (S30V is perfectly fine with me, and I like its stonewash finish on the Shaman), so no need to snatch a ZWear away perhaps from under ones nose who 110% HAS TO have one ;)

I'll probably just get the S30V Shaman one day :)

Nice R. I got to handle one, identical to yours, at Country Knives a couple years ago.
It is a terrific knife. I wish we got an updated R instead of the Endela. I still hope for another R sprint with g10 and a better steel.

Ok, Darby, you did it again!
The next amazing gem... ;)

And you´re right: This would be tough competition for the Endela: Similar size, but a bit more cutting edge despite offering a choil.
I´d perhaps still slightly prefer the Endela, but actually probably would own both...

No surprise here in Salzburg, Austria, Europe...
But after all, it actually just can't get really any better than Stretch and HAP 40... :)

I know right? The SE Lil' Matriarch is one of my very favorite EDC's, an FFG K390 version would probably never leave my pocket. 😁

I had to break out the Spyderco Native Chief in S90V to show my brother during his visit.

Going to see if I can talk him in to one.
