here at the minute man national historical park in boston, in the spot where the shot heard around the world that started the american revolution was fired because soldiers of a tyrannical government marched on citizens to confiscate their weapons and disarm their militias, i'm reduced to a roadie and ladybug hawkbill (not pictured) because the local government has ruled that any blade larger than 2.5" is a dangerous weapon. they are literally teaching history they have themselves forgotten.

He who controls the past, controls the future. These bits of history will be canceled or quietly disappeared over the years. Remember, at one point private citizens could outfit their own military companies, including artillery and warships. All assuming they could afford to do so, of course. Now a 2.6 inch pocket knife is illegal is some places.ladybug93 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 3:21 pmhere at the minute man national historical park in boston, in the spot where the shot heard around the world that started the american revolution was fired because soldiers of a tyrannical government marched on citizens to confiscate their weapons and disarm their militias, i'm reduced to a roadie and ladybug hawkbill (not pictured) because the local government has ruled that any blade larger than 2.5" is a dangerous weapon. they are literally teaching history they have themselves forgotten.

Sign week for me . The CEO and I were winding down doing Fall cleanup when discovered I was missing a Manix in my pocket which lead to a massive search with no results . I feared the worst since I had been burning cuttings in fire pit for hours . Grabbed my Pacific for this picture for Rick to cool down my emotions. Side note later there was a happy ending . MG2

That’s a horrible feeling isn’t it? I once lost a knife for a year, and found it when I scrounged a duplicate office chair and got down on all 4a to figure out how to set it up like my old one. And lo before me what did I see? My lost knife, covered in a years worth of dust and whatever, perched on the L-bracket that holds the back of the chair to the base! I had replaced that knife with a duplicate, which I promptly sold once I had my original back.
Whew! Glad your story had a happy ending!
