Awesome combo by the way!
Thanks! I'm glad these Byrds exist. They really are a great value.

Enactive wrote: Man, that's a cool swap. I like that! difficulty rating? did you make an FRN Meadowlark?
Thanks. These backlocks aren't super easy to put back together, but I've done it several times. One thing to remember when swapping different blades, the lock bar must also be swapped.

I almost have a working PE FRN Meadowlark, but somehow I lost the pivot screw during the swap. I looked all over for it, but to no avail... I'll keep looking. I may try to grind my own serrations if I'm able to find the pivot screw.

Liking this one since it arrived yesterday :)
Nice combination! I like a modern and a traditional together.

I love my Stretch 2. Have nearly gone for the Straight Spine sprint a couple of times too. I may still, but kinda prefer the drop point.

How are you finding the steel performance Rick? I love how quick and effortless it is to get Super Blue insanely sharp. Wish we'd see more of it in different models that aren't pinned.

Hey Connor. I totally agree with everything you said. Of all the steels I've tried, I may find it the easiest to get that sticky sharp. Edge retention isn't the greatest, but oh so easy to get sharp so I don't even mind. I would definitely jump on other models if they came out with Super Blue. It's a fun and unique steel for a folder. Very happy I was able to snag one of these, especially for under $100.

Thank you. I saw a YouTube video featuring an Ulticlip in the last week or two, so it's been on my radar as well.

That comes from steak, mushrooms and asparagus. I absolutely love it and am done with foods, I don't want it to change from what it is right now.

Saw your pic with your calendar pic you posted earlier...congrats again bud!
