Didn't think I'd like this one based on specs/pics. Sure was dead wrong! The SpyOpera's been kicking everything else outta my pocket for the last week. Love this lil knife.

How do you like the Ark? Dont see too many people use it. I wish the handle was a tiny bit bigger so I could fit 4 fingers on

It's a great tiny fixed blade. Very thin stock, super slicey. I carry it around the neck and it gets used for food, primarily. I'm used to using wharncliffes and hawkbills, so the "normal" blade shape of the ARK just feels hindered, apart from use on a cutting board.

I generally hold it in a pinch grip in use. It just feels natural to me in that grip. If they ever make it in a wharncliffe, hawkbill, or kiridashi I'd likely purchase one ASAP.

Vivi started an interesting thread about the ARK a while ago: https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76218

View from my living room...

Just kidding of course. This is the view from a window of a hunting castle from the early sixteenhundreds, where nowadays the Salzburg folklore museum is situated (https://www.salzburgmuseum.at/index.php?id=1836). As I love local history I have an annual ticket that covers most of the museums in Salzburg, and so I visit them quite often.
Down below you can see the castle and park of Hellbrunn (HERE a nice virtual tour, worth watching! https://www.hellbrunn.at/en/), also built in the early sixteen hundreds.

/ I switched from my REX 45 Manix LW to the Stretch 1 today.. just felt it was "Stretch time" again, and I also want to compare the different edge types of Manix and Stretch 1:
While the Manix has a pronounced, continous curve in the edge from heel to tip, the Stretch on the other hand has a long, totally straight section starting at the heel of the blade before the belly starts to rise.
This makes for a real, noticeable difference and I want to find out more about the pros and cons of both edge types. For example: The Stretch tends less to slide of a stick when whittling (making a point on the stick or the like).

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
