May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Aaaaaahhh! My grail!! Tristan has it!!
Haha thanx bolster. I absolutely love this excellent knife, I use & carry her just about every single day. Still amazed by it every time I grip it, look at it, and use it. I hope to get a micarta calypso one day. That nicely chamfered micarta looks like it would feel super nice. That’s my only complaint with the g10 model is that it feels a bit too blocky sometimes in certain kinds of cutting where it takes more force and tighter gripping.

Today, mostly my UKPK Salt. I use it a lot around the house (inside).

Sometime back, I discovered that if I stick the edge of my thumbnail in between the second-to-last and the very last serration in the jimping, I can actually hold the knife up in the air like that for a short while. Don't ask me how I even thought of doing that in the first place.

🙂

It feels as light as a wafer cookie.

Mine is SE, so if/when I can justify buying another knife again, I'm sure the Magnacut version will have been out, most likely for awhile by then. I plan to get a PE Magnacut one. My SE LC200N one and a PE Magnacut one would probably complement each other well, IMO...

The UKPK Salt is one of my favorites for summer. It lives in my bike jersey pocket a lot of time and endures a really frightening amount of sweat and doesn't show any sign of corrosion. Also it is only slightly heavier than air. Great little knife. Certainly worth having in LC200N.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

Now that picture really makes it look as light as I hope it feels!

The Magnacut UKPK is still on schedule to be my first UKPK, and my first folding knife with MC.
Spyderco, of course has a habit of throwing something in from left field that tends to distort my plans, but this one is surely heading for my sock drawer, wherever it winds up on the chronological timeline.
