Just a remark, not important at all: We are on page 995 of this thread, as far as I am aware of it will be the first one on this forum to make it to a 1000 pages, right? (And very soon probably)

Courious who will happen to do the post that will open up page one thousand... :) That person should by us other members a beer each, unfortunately it is a bit hard to meet in these lockdown days... ;)

I believe the original "crazy deals" thread MAY have had over 1000 pages? Not certain, but I believe it did.

You could very well be right... Forgot about that one!

204 pages in that original crazy deals thread. This thread is likely the biggest.

Tools for the upcoming week, time to give the 10V & REX 45 some natural patina juices; smoked for about 4hrs and with just a little time in the insta-pot the meat will fall off the bone... :spyder:

Jealous! I have the recent Super Blue Calypso Jr Sprint, but what I'd really like is a longer blade and screw construction. Super Blue is really fun stuff, especially if you're an "edge junkie".

Yea, I have the Jr SB aswell. Just never could get down with it.

The Caly 3.5 is still pinned, but Moki had it down. I have no issues with their pinned knives.

I'm with you guys, as much as I loved how easily and beautifully it got a patina, and the scary sharpness it achieved...the model itself was very underwhelming in use and materials. After actually using it for 2 days at work, I knew it had to go.

Just realized the scales on the REX 45 kinda match the BB8 colors; got the insta-pot as Christmas gift from a co-worker :D
