Training most of the day, but still wanted these guys together. Feeling pretty fortunate to get both of these this past year at favorable prices.

Keeping the Micarta train rolling.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Thanks Dan! I love how turkey tail mushrooms look, so much contrast. I do wish my phone took sharper photos in low light though lol.

Still this one

I think this might be the first time I've ever saved someone else's knife photo to my desktop.

Sorry I'm a bit behind the curve here, but how did you acquire that sweet blade? I didn't think they dropped yet.

Thanks! I wish I had cleaned the blade as well as I normally do for photos.

The SXL G10 was available at Patriot Knifeworks, only place I'm aware of so far. Seki G10 is always expensive, but this one is really up there. I'm sorry for everyone that it wasn't available over the MAP Holiday Weekend - It's an exceptional piece!

Much obliged for the reply! Also, I'm glad it wasn't perfectly clean. I prefer seeing a little wear/love on knives every now and then.

It really does look exceptional. And here I thought I was done making blade purchases for the next while. Ha!

Thanks Dan, that shot and knife look great! I just ordered my first dealer modified Spyderco this weekend... PM2 Crucarta, heat bronzed! We'll see how it turns out.

Cheers! :bug-red-white

I bought a Smock just due to your pictures on Black Friday. Not sure if I will copy you with the scales yet, but I'm leaning heavily in that direction.

Please keep the get pictures coming!

Can’t get the Stovepipe out of my pocket - I love this thing!
I looked hard at this thing on the online seconds sale. Glad they are all gone because I don't think I could resist another day. Such a unique one and the build looks solid. Glad you are liking it in use.
I considered picking up another when they put them online yesterday because I think it’s such a cool design. It feels just as solid as it looks too. I’ve only had this one since the in-person seconds sale but I liked it so much that it was one of the few knives I flew home with, everything else got shipped. Everything else arrived yesterday though, so I’m going to be switching it up more often for a while. :eyes
