The original color was grey. I dyed it very slightly with Rit black and it turned out in a medium blue color. Following that was a bit of sanding work. With the grey base color, it would finish with a vintage blue effect.

That is a great shot of it resting on the tree. Makes me want to get mine out and carry it a few days. It's been getting neglected, with all this new stuff coming out. But I would also like something sort of between it and the G-10 M2 sprints in weight, maybe with a more G10-like handle at least.
