How do you like the Battlestation? It caught my eye when I saw it in the catalog. I was thinking it would be a bigger knife but when I saw the specs it is smaller than I expected which is good. It seems like my favorite size range for an EDC knife.

It's really solid feeling (The blade has just enough weight to flick open with my thumb and literally no wrist movement...only about half my lockbacks will), the grind is exquisite, and it's WAAAAAAY more comfortable than it looks like it would be. Behind the choil, choked up on the choil, or reverse grip, doesn't matter a jot...this thing is super comfy. It also carries really deeply and unobtrusively, and has the shortest and strongest wire clip I've seen from Spyderco. For me at least it's definitely a keeper. Oh, and tip is VERY strong looking at the geometry...very stout little knife.

Boy, the Battlestation paired with the Tuff and Ulize? Talk about having some "don't mess with me" days! :)

The Ulize shot was more for comparison because the grind on that one is beautiful as well...it gets carried less than most of my Spydies because it's not super sheeple friendly haha. It carries SUPER well though due to its slimness. The Tuff carries surprisingly unobtrusively for a such a robustly sized (And built) knife, and I carry it quite often actually. I'll likely be getting custom scales made for my Battlestation soon so stay tuned for that :D

With the anticipation of the new arrival, I went classic, discontinued carry today.

Excellent picture. Oh yeah, cool knives too. :)

This stretch, d'fly and manbug were with me today and will be tomorrow. In fact I may be using this pic a few times in this thread. Love these models.

PS
How do you like my picture? It's a very personal pic. Especially the finger prints on the manbug blade. :)
