How did you get your patina, No? It's so even looking, I suspect it was dipped into something... I like the thin-galvanized look, almost like a protective coat of oxide that "stops by itself." I'm hoping to get something like that on my (I hope) Cru Millie, but I prefer to get it by some kind of normal use rather than a dip treatment if possible.

Edit: Oh yes, I'm carrying my SB Caly 3 and BlackBlade Manix2 XL
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

xceptnl wrote:I love it for watch pocket carry. The dragonfly typically goes in my LF pocket so I don't compare them. I do like the AIR better than the Kiwi lockback. The two of them fight for that pocket space constantly. If I had the kbuzbee custom wire clip mod on my AIR it would knock most other LBKs out of my pocket and could rival the Calys.
Well i have a gayle bradley air on the way now :D can't wait for it to get here.

Today im carrying:

You will not regret it. I almost picked up an inexpensive Des Horn secondhand, but why..... the Air fills the need.

Holland, it's nice to see knives getting used. My Salt 1 is so well used, it has a finish all it's own.
- best wishes, Jazz.

At this moment I've got the Gayle Bradley and G10 Dragonfly in my pockets. In about 5 minutes it will be the Southard and G10 Ladybug.

I didn't think the Domino could get any cooler than it already was, but this clip mod finally makes it a perfect EDC knife because now it can be deep pocket carried. Had to file the screw holes a bit to decrease the distance between the stock holes on this Ti clip from USAKnifeMaker, and it turned out and matches pretty well... Today was the first day carrying this new and improved version.

Thank you sir! It makes all the difference to have it go fully into the pocket, and now it nestles even closer to the pant seam so I can slide it fully to the full right-hand side of my right front pocket. With the knife sticking out of my pocket so much with the stock clip, the width of the handle prevented me from doing just that. A little thing I know, but it gives me a lot more access to other stuff in my pocket now. Plus, it just looks like it goes with the knife, only thing the clip is missing is the Spydie logo. The indentation in the clip is just the perfect spot for my middle finger to hold when gripping/opening the knife too.

Come on Spyderco, can you throw us a bone and make replacement deep carry clips like these available for occasions like this (maybe a Ti version and a SS version)?? Who else could do it better? :)
