Mailman came with my forum native today, so after a quick clip-change it's in my pocket.

I can tell you got that one from Howe's. I have a Sprint with the same CC# that I got from them.

You're right. I was lucky enough to snag a collector when they were released, bypassing the whole pre-order fiasco.

Holland, can you (or anyone else) please explain to me why you love the GB so much. I have been looking at this (I want to buy my first CF Spyderco) and I like the looks and the steel, but I can't quite pull the trigger for a few reasons...First, I don't like the looks of the liners protruding past the CF scales. How does this feel in the hand, do you like the look? Second, it seems pretty hefty for a 3.5" blade...does this feel too heavy to you, or just right? I am also not crazy about the liner locks, but the Military has somewhat changed my mind here. Anyways, other than the great steel, what else do you really like about this knife?

Well my caly3 super blue is about to enter service today.
Time to make her a user and see what she can do.
It will be in my pocket within the hour,as soon as the grape, lemon,Saskatoon berry, loco pepper, and cayenne pepper patina takes..

The first thing that appealed to me was the incredible F&F. it is very comparable to the umnumzaan i had. second, i love non stainless steels and M4 is amazing and a joy to use and sharpen. the heft feels great in hand, yet hardly feels any bigger in pocket then my paras. the protruding liners adds grip and comfort, wish all my g10 knives were like it!

Well.. Today I recieved a Forum knife in the mail.. I missed out on both orderings due to my ineptness so endgame (Pat) offered up an extra he had.. Not only that but sent it overnight to me as I am going away this week-end and he wanted me to have it to take along!! THANK YOU endgame!!!

So that and the Manbug are in the RFP and will be all week-end.. THANK YOU Pat.... John

Dfly ZDP, Manbug ZDP, and the Tuff. Seems to be a lot of ZDP-189 love, with good reason, its one of my favorite steels for slicing.
