very nice! i didn't know you had an amalgam. the blade shape is one of my favorites for outdoor use, but the bearings are a turnoff for me for that kind of usage. have you used it for any dirty work and have the bearings given you any issues?

I switched it with the K390 Stretch yesterday cutting bags of mulch (10 bags ) with no issues . Needs some pocket time , comp lock is a bit tight . I will change clip to tip down to see if access closing will work better as a lefty today . Overall I like it and the blade is also a favorite of mine too . I’ve never had problems with the Smock so thought I would give it a go . In hand feels a little like the Siren and I prefer a humpless blade . The flipper is not overly large so don’t find it to be a negative issue . Carrying Salt knives has been eye opening and have to force myself to rotate more often to enjoy other knives . ;) Dan

The Amalgam is a criminally overlooked knife. Seriously one of the best in the line up.

i just wish it wasn't on bearings. it looks like a great bush folder, but bearings aren't really known to thrive in dirty conditions.

Thanks they started out as some electric blue scales from NapoliEDC (highly recommended), which was cool but like a neon sign poking out of my pocket. So I mixed up some RIT sapphire blue with a splash of Grey Pearl. I was aiming for denim blue but ended up with ultramarine, which is a happy accident because it looks awesome.

These pics are a couple days old, but this pair is still in pocket and enjoying the plum tree. Summer is here in Seattle after a long cold and wet Spring.

I was playing around with my phone's editing software to isolate the knife color, it gave my hand a different color. It was either blue, red, pink, or green. I chose poorly.
