Been lurking for a couple years. I’m going to try to post regularly and get to know y’all. Any way, here’s what I’m carrying in the shop today.

Thanks. Ive tried several different photos, but they all say the file is too big. Any suggestions?

Got my Para 3 Maxamet on me today, I thought there was no patina forming since I couldn't see it and that I use FrogLube Paste on the tool steel blades.
However, compared to my new N5 LW is some angles, it kinda shows a pretty homogenous patina :
other angle (in wich we can see that the N5 Maxamet has a prettttyyy sexxxxyyy finish imho) :

In the collection : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Thanks for the rundown. I've been interested in these electric kits/ebikes since seeing them over ten years ago, just haven't tried one yet.

Waterway... a Spydie that is actually never "in my pocket", but pretty often in my pack (and in use).
Today it just had to cut up my lunch on a nice late autumn hike.

GB2 has become my favorite. I never thought anything could replace the PM2 but I was wrong.

If youre fine with doing it yourself instead of buying a complete ebike, so maybe you already have a frame you really like or whatever.PeaceInOurTime wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 8:02 pmThanks for the rundown. Then I would say the first thing you need to figure out is whether you want a mid drive or hub drive. Then go from there.
Also definitely dont be cheap when it comes to the batteries. Theres more than just voltage/ amp hour specs. The really cheap ones I might not even trust to leave in my house, or they arent the cells they say they are and were repackaged and sold as something else, or they are put together so badly you might not get a year out of them.
My point is research is your friend.

Thanks man! Luckily I only have to move about 10' from where my lazy butt is usually sitting that time of the day to take them

Same knife, different day. Same photo as a few days ago, but black and white this time around.
