That looks awesome. How has it been with corrosion and if I may ask, are you near saltwater? I want to try this steel but have had some issues with other steels that aren’t stainless down here. Thanks.

Living in central MO I'm about as far from saltwater as you can get and still be in the US. ;) No corrosion issues at all. There's a light patina on it from cutting up a lot of pineapple and other acidic foods. I would say it's about on par with Rex 45. Maybe slightly better than Maxamet.

I am really liking the new Tropen!!! Great blade. Unbelievably smooth opening. An absolutely beautiful knife.

Like always with new knives I test and use the Tenacious in as many capacities as possible - did a lot of woodwork, food prep, cardboard slicing and so on already...

It is not like I´d have never, ever thrown a folder (NOT recommended at all!), but certainly this is the one task I DON`T test new knives in... ;) - also not the Tenacious, it was just in my pocket, while dedicated blades got thrown... :)

This knife keeps impressing me... I think my Manix LW in BD1N will have to go for it, in order to keep my collection (rather a bunch of users) as slim as I like it to be.
