Maxamet has been great this week. I see what the hype is all about with this steel. Still slicing curly Q's in paper. It's my only blade with a stonewashed finish too (which I love) I can't believe I got this thing for $79! Those spots are the blade are a reflection of the overhead lights. I believe, after further tinkering and investigating on the knife, that it has an ever so slight warp in the blade that made it a factory second.

They are the factory scales.. I guess it could be the outdoor (snowy) lighting plus photoshop. I didnt change the colors though, only enhanced

Thanks! I got it about a month ago but I think this is the first time I've posted it. Technically, (legally) I'm not "allowed" to carry it anywhere other than private property in Massachusetts. With all the snow we got today, I wanted to carry something I could operate with winter gloves on if needed.
