/ how is your Pac Salt concerning side to side play?
Zero play at all out of the box. It was rock solid but loosened up a tad after opening/closing it a bunch. Might just need some Loctite. Otherwise this thing is excellent and VERY toothy. The serrations seem deeper than my Pac Salt H1. I do like the color and grip better than the old one. LC200N seems very light compared to other steels.

Thanks! :)
- Deep(er) serrations are probably something I´ll not like too much when I eventually get mine (but more shallow ones like on my Endela SE), but the´ll get at least less spikey over time anyway.
- Sure that "LC200N is very light"? - I don´t know, but could it be just the difference between the hollow-sabre blade (more steel) of your H1 Pac Salt compared to the ffg of the LC Pac Salt?
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

That´s a nice one, not seen too often! :) - Delica size, PM2 cutting edge, no hump... but how is it in bigger hands? Grip area long enough and not too narrow/thin behind the guard?
One of the main complaints I've heard about the Junior is that the handle is not long enough. I've seen a few requests for a "Senior" over the years ;). (A larger version of the Junior)
I can't speak for "5-by-5" but for myself, the size works well enough. Haven't found the handle too thin behind the guard either but for the most part I have only ever carried it while backpacking, so I've never really had a need to use it that hard.

I have XXL palms. It nestles in my palm just right. My thumb rests right on the jimping. I enjoy carrying it even though it's a comp lock.
Thanks, guys!
Really great design, that Dialex Junior (though I´d prefer another lock type too) - a bit like a folder version of my White River backpacker (compared here to the Manix that is in my pocket today

Cool gray kinda day.

Before joining the forum, I never really even thought about taking pictures of my knives haha and I still sometimes feel a little silly stopping on my walks for a quick photo.. after taking this pic of my Sage today, I looked across the cove and noticed a full-grown man snapping dozens of pictures of his RC jeep. It was like a full-on photoshoot in the woods.. and I’m glad I witnessed it because it definitely made me feel like less of a crazy person for taking one picture of my knife! :p
Ha! On my hikes it's not unusual to hear my kids or even my husband whining something like "hang on, mommy's stopping for anooooother knife picture." :D
Hahah! That's pretty awesome, Julia.

Carrying the Sage again today. Until my Military second arrives.. it's OFD today!

I really do enjoy seeing everyone's pictures here on the forum.. I need to make an effort to take more knife pics when I'm out and about, haha the ones I take in the office are kind of boring :o
Rick H.

..well, that escalated quickly..

Today I got a Swiss Colony box my Mom sends every Christmas. It might be my favorite part of the holidays. This one is huge!

I miss those Swiss Colony boxes. The family would receive one during the holidays, back when I was a kid.

Missed having one of these. Right around when the online seconds sale was announced I had been poking around on ebay looking for one.

Whenever I come across a carbon steel blade for a good price I'm going to swap it into a digicam handle and recreate my old EDC:

Did you get that blackout millie from the seconds sale? And it’s pre-CQI? Interesting...

I know that feeling!! Love my Putman micarta scales, who makes these? Can't wait to see how they look after you carry it for a while. Worn in micarta looks so good imo.

They're wonderful. The knife feels fatter in my grip, closer to the feeling of the C95. It feels so much better than the G10. Might have to find a set for my Millie and Police next.
