So beautiful! Between your pictures and Wartstein's, I'm pretty sure I'm living in the wrong part of the world!
Thank you very much. I am blessed to live down here for sure. But I do miss the seasons changing, the Fall colors and average almost a bottle of wine a night during hurricane season watching/tracking all the storms😂

Short work week so I figured I'd give the lil Dragonfly a run. It's actually been pretty busy, A LOT of cutting these past few days. Not the most ideal knife for some of these tasks, but no complaints. It's a great little knife!

.jpeg

The Vtoku2 steel has dulled significantly since I started work on Monday morning, but I kind of expected that anyways. I did notice though, after a closer look...it appears that the bevel towards the tip has actually been worn down a bit compared to the belly of the blade. Does anybody else notice that in the pic below, or am I seeing things?? I did use the tip quite a bit with a lot of draw cuts through cardboard yesterday.

.jpeg
I see it. It does look different towards the tip. Still a nice looking knife!

I too am carrying VToku this week:
Image

It’s been through heck and back. Very tough stuff. It never really chips, rolls, or deforms. Just seems to go dull. But I find that the more I sharpen/touch-up, the longer it will go. I also cut the bevel back some and it has become slightly more convex each time I sharpen. So that may have something to do with why I’m getting more mileage each time.

This knife was my first sprint, first frn, first Seki Spydie, first laminated blade. I lost it once and paid a $50 reward to a coworker for finding it.

Thanks, guys! :)

/ Julia: Having seen the pics from around your cabin, lakes and horses, I may say: I think you live in a beautiful place too! :)... though I´d miss some vertical distances... ;)

/ Stretch 1 for me today.

Didn´t know you have one! :)

Great knife! I´d really wish for a linerlock version, that would certainly make me get another one (had to sell my Kapara).
And a Micarta or FRN variant would be great for harder outdoor-use (the stunning CF handle can get a bit slippy when its wet and cold outside).

The pretty huge fortress of Salzburg (one of the largest in whole Europe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohensalzburg_Fortress) sits on a hill quite in the middle of the city and can be seen from almost everywhere in town.
Here my Endela is placed on the hood of my parking car, the fortress in the backdrop.

Well Wart, you inspired today’s carry

I feel honored! :)

And I do hope we Endela SE owners will inspire some more people to try this exact knife. So far no one who did was disappointed, as far as I can recall the resp. posts in this forum.

Wow, looks like a really professional equipment! :)

/ How do you like the Watu? I am really tempted by its thin, slicey blade and the long cutting edge...

And: How do you like the Skeletool? I sold mine eventually (had the 154 cm version). Kind of cool, but I found if one carries a dedicated EDC knife anyway, the Skeletool offers too few additional tools. For me the Juice CS 4 or S2 are the better and more versatile choices. Just my 2c of course

Today, Some convexed and polished SPY27. Playing around with the ken onion worksharp with the blade grinding attachment (the only reason why I bought one). So far, I’d say it pretty amazing what it does in 5 minutes or less. Wonderful results.

I picked up a new Endela with K390 and played with that most of the day yesterday.
