Couldn't resist getting the Bradley Bowie and I had DLT points to use.

I love these designs, but want I really want is the Junction blade and size with the contoured handle of the Bowie. And a color, of course.FullFlatMind wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 6:00 pmCouldn't resist getting the Bradley Bowie and I had DLT points to use.

Honestly, I thought the same thing. After using mine quite a bit, I don't know that it is necessary. The handles are actually rounded off quite nicely and it makes for a very comfortable handle.JuPaul wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 6:54 pmI love these designs, but want I really want is the Junction blade and size with the contoured handle of the Bowie. The real star is just how thin it is on your hip. It carries better fixed blades half it's size.

Yeah, my toes look pretty gnarly today...so many shades of black, blue, and red! But thankfully no broken bones.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 8:12 am
That´s not exactly pleasant, sorry for you!
Lost both finger- and toe nails myself, due to little climbing accidents/rockfall, so I know that..
/ Nice scales in any case! :)
One disadvantage of my LW Manixes: Such nice scales are not really an realistic option..
The lack of scale options is one definite disadvantage of the linerless models (and of course the pinned models like the Manix lw). I'd really love a set of these scales for my 4v Native, or a terotuf set, but so far no one makes them.

The Junction carries way better than it should for a fixed blade. It is very comfortable to have on my belt and the handle works quite well and is comfortable even though it is flat.Sumdumguy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 7:07 pmHonestly, I thought the same thing. Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Have both; love the workmanship of Spyderco fixed blades. Disco list is a great opportunity to try one of these and find out for yourself. Junction taught me I don't mind flat handles on fixed blades. Bowie taught me I don't mind a longer blade than I'm used to. Of the two, I'm leaning toward the Bowie. Do love the handle. When I carry fixed blades it is mostly in a backpack so the size isn't a big factor regarding carry. I'm usually a leather guy when it comes to sheathes but like the kydex/boltoron (whatever it is called) these come with ... so an all around good package for me and favorable pricing at the moment. Glad I have each; actually have two of the Bowie and might pick up a third to gift next hunting camp. Finally got my LC200N Pacific Salt 2 reprofiled. Did a sloppy job but the edge is sharp and thin, so I know it'll cut well despite being uneven. It will be in my pocket all weekend for my double shifts.

Still have the respect too just don't feel like taking it out for a picture.
