So do you like them? ;) They were made by Spencer C. AKA "Karbadize" on IG (also his Gmail email address). He also offers custom scales for a number of Spyderco and ZT knives on BladeHQ. His books are officially closed currently but he was able to make them up fairly quickly since he's made some previously and had his CNC program already dialed in. They were also very reasonably priced (a bit under $100), which for the incredible quality of them I thought was a great deal. They are much more 3D-contoured than the stock scales (I can't tell you how much I dislike Spyderco's CF/G10 laminate...), and also obviously are missing the Spyderhole in the scales (which I specifically asked him not to drill). I know the designer Paul Alexander included those holes so that Spyderco trademark was visible when the knife was closed, but to me it looks far better without them. I'll warn Spencer that they'll probably be a forum member or two hitting him up for some more soon. :) Cheers, Radioactive

Lazy sunday afternoon. Just sitting on the porch, listening to the rain, thinking about how this might be my favorite pm2.

Very nice Vivi. The original backlock Manix in foliage green is **** of a knife. Still is more pleasent to hold than the BBL model with all the unnecessary jimping.

That, the thicker handle, and the slightly less prominent thumb ramp make me prefer the C95 ergos to the XL's. I can't think of a more comfortable folder.

I do like the 3mm blade on the XL and playing around with the CBBL though.

Bottom:
I really like S30V, but REX 45 is just awesome.
And the rounded scales are much of what makes the Shaman so special imho
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
