Ooh, that’s nice. Love the Anso texture too.

Haha love it! The SE wharncliffe Endura is a beast. I wish more people would be on board with Zome. I think it looks cool.

If they don't come up with the "regular" Endura in ffg SE (my absolut dream-knife) soon I'll have to get a wharnie SE I guess...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Are my pics wearing you down? ;)

I think I remember you mentioning not liking large wharncliffes. Before getting this one, I actually ordered a SE Salt 2 wharncliffe. When it arrived, I found they accidentally sent me a PE model and I sent it back. I almost reordered the knife, but decided to go big with the Endura :)

Yes, they do wear me down... :D

And yes, for whatever reason I don´t really care for large (!) wharncliff-folders (I like small ones though).
This is not grounded in any personal experience whatsoever since I never tried a large wharnie.
I just somehow want to have my main, large EDC folders to have some belly and a more centered tip if possible, I maybe don´t like the huge footprint of the closed package of large wharnies, and it might even be that I am just nor used to the looks of it since there are not many large wharnies out there... :o

But I generally love the Endura and would want it to come in ffg SE really badly, so I might give the wharnie SE a chance (but if there was a "regular" ffg SE Endura I´d prefer that one, no doubt).

The first experience I had with a wharncliffe was a CRKT Minimalist. Two inches of PE fixed blade wharncliffe being used as my primary everyday blade (back when Jazz's "Let's Get Serious" thread was in it's developement) was all it took for me to see the light :) .

My Endura broke down some cardboard boxes again yesterday and the extra length didn't get in the way for me! Though, knife usage is very subjective and personal. If you do end up with a wharncliffe Endura, I hope it lives up to my hype :D

As far as the footprint in the folded position, I can't imagine it would be much different from a Manix 2. Maybe someone who owns both could post a comparison pic.

I never get tired of seeing it. Your's is the first I've seen that wasn't FRN. It's really nice.

Thanks. This one is a Micro Dyad, they made this one and one with Black Pearl inlay. I had one of those a few years ago. But, regrettably, I sold it... Oh well, just gives me something else to hunt for.

The FRN ones are Dyad Jrs. I'm still looking for a deal on the blue VG-10 version.
