Trade ya my Swayback for that old thing. One of my bigger Spyder regrets. I remember picking up the Bowie at the Outlet one day and thinking eh, the hole is a little hard to access. Wasn’t feeling the tip sweep at the time either, and it seemed kind of expensive. Lol...oof. Tastes and likes do change over time. :spyder:

Right now a left hand PM2 and the Ladybug on the key chain; all subject to change.

Lol, I hear you. There are a number of older Spydies I regret not getting when they were still readily available... If only one could travel back in time a few decades ago. :Dmb1 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:28 amTrade ya my Swayback for that old thing. One of my bigger Spyder regrets. My two recent splurge purchases. The Leupold shades are fantastic, so clear! And range safe which is honestly one of the only reasons I paid that much for a pair of shades. The bombshell is just starting to find some time in pocket.

Yojimbo 2, just got it and love it already. So light and unassuming with the deep pocket clip

Thank you, Red!

Cool pic! Reminds me of some artist, but I can't quite recall his name at the moment.

-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Another old pic, but I am at the exact same climbing gym carrying the exact same knife today..
Training finger strength for climbing (and OF COURSE also for flicking Spydies with each finger ), the Stretch 1 (for me one of the all-time-greatest) is "watching" :D

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
You are really getting deeper into Spyderco rather quickly now, right? :)
Congrats on the Yojimbo! Never had one myself, since I am totally not into SD with knives... but recently I realized how usefull this design must be just as an utility folder. In fact there was a great thread by Zuludelta on this, quite recently, but still before you joined the forum, might be an interesting read for you: viewtopic.php?t=86412
Anyway, looking at this model as not (just) a self defense tool, it suddenly starts to really interest me a LOT more..

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Ha, thanks and you are correct! I have been on a tear with 2 more on the way (Roadie and PS 2) but hopefully thats it for awhile, wallet isn’t happy with me about it Thanks for the thread heads up on the Yojimbo 2. I did get it as an edc defense knife and it serves that purpose excellently but just carrying it a few days it is an absolute monster as a utility knife!! Very happy with this little beast.Wartstein wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 1:25 am
