I do wish I would have grabbed the DLC version. Such a great knife!
You sure love your satin version and give it a lot of work though! I do love this knife, it's my favorite of the 3 Para 3's I have and 7 that I once had. My only knife remaining in M4! When I was doing those weekly reviews of my knives in different steels, this one really was the biggest surprise (in a positive way) in how it performed compared to all the others.
It's really been a surprise to me as well and didn't think anything would knock my BBS para3 out of my pocket. The smooth G10 really sucked me in as well.

Today's carry...mule not in photo :)

I have this little guy in my pocket today. Not a Copilot....but this is a C61 Pegasus. I always liked the way that Sal designed the lines of this little knife so that when the blade is closed, the spine of the blades continues the line established by the butt of the handle. When close it almost lookes like a necklace pendant. Beautiful little big knife.

Speaking of this knife in "The Spyderco Story", author Kenneth Delavigne wrote:

"...when the knife (especially the steel C61) is closed, the lines of the handle and blade flow around and into one another like those of a tiny gem. The first time I held a Pegasus (I knew it as a CX01 at the time), I wanted to wipe all finger marks off, close it, and photograph it on black and white film as an object of art."

Worst feeling! Especially if your significant other is home and is sick of seeing those USPS boxes/packages coming in to your name  :)

I initially got a stormtrooper bead for this knife. However after holding it in my hand the profile reminds me of the black lightsaber in the Mandalorian.

Chaparral Raffir Noble. Got it a couple days ago and its pretty small compared to what I carry. I thought the handle was super different and hadn't tried that particular steel (CTS-XHP). So far it cuts great, but don't care for the deployment. Got a super "shut down" deal, but it will be gone by the end of the year.

If you mean by "deployment" that the lockbar is rather stiff to depress: That will improve after some breaking in, or you could do the mod where you move the spring a bit more to the front. This will make depressing the lock easier and smoother.

Should you mean though that the lockbar is just very thin and by that uncomfortable to depress, and/or the knife is hard to flick open due to the very light blade and the backlock: That is what it is and won´t change of course..
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

My edc for the past few weeks since recieving it in the mail is my PM2 with custom burgundy digi camo G10 scales from KnivesPlus. Loving this PM2. Looks awesome with those scales and the DLC coated blade. I need to figure out how to post pictured.

It's nice but the best part about a Spyderco in my mind is it's ease of opening one handed so I'm trying to get over the initial disappointment. Something about it though I do love. The blade is all business!
