Great choice!!

Just can state once more: If I could only have two folders, the Chap FRN would never be my first, but always my second choice after some large, at best serrated Spydie...

This particular model has a double edge. Which is great, and an odd experience when sharpening/touching up haha. Also scared myself with it last week when I instinctively went to choke up on it and put my thumb right on the edge that was on top! Thankfully I had my cut proof gloves on.

I agree wholeheartedly Wart! The Chap is pretty hard to beat for its size and cutting performance.

Now if only we could get an XL Chaparral already :p

I would buy one in a heartbeat. I am craving a longer blade with the same thin stock, and would love it if the overall thickness could stay the same as the normal Chaparral. That would be super unique knife (as far as I know).

Yikes! Yeah I bet that takes some getting used to. Glad you had your gloves on!
