What a stunning view! If I ever make it back to Europe (fingers crossed), Austria is at the top of my list!

I hope you will! And if you do, I´ll be really mad at you if you don´t shoot me a message and I can show you (and your family) the bazillion of stunning views here! :) (And maybe we´ll BOTH carry a Manix then  - though in Austria you could carry a Tatanka legally either, it´s a great country in many aspects! )

Thanks - hopefully I'll be able to take you up on that offer! Once my kids are a bit older I'd love to take them to Europe, and traveling is always better with a local guide and friend. :)

I have those two. Excellent budget knives! I modified my orange rescue into a wharncliffe and swapped the handles on the hawkbill with titanium. They helped convert me to belly-less blade shapes and full SE :)
That was my plan all along. Here it is today, the rough initial grinding...

Looks good!

Thanks, Woodpuppy!
That one looks like calendar material to me.

I appreciate that! I rarely produce good photos.

A couple of questions.
On a scale of one to ten where smooth carbon fiber is a two and the typical G-10 texture is a nine, where would you put the pictured scales in terms of texture aggressiveness?

Where did you get them?
