I have only done shiitake. I pick a lot of lions mane in the woods and it is a favorite of mine. Thought about cultivating some. Also want to do oyster and maitake. Next year I will add one of the three.JuPaul wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 12:17 pmThat's awesome! A friend of ours has a little mushroom farm and gave us a few Oyster blocks, which we spread out in our woods. Hoping the ones that sprout from the block will spread spores elsewhere. Fingers crossed!bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 10:04 amCultivating shiitake. Did some three years ago and had great results. Used beech then and am using Hop Hornbeam and Sugar Maple this time. Also a single piece of cherry as an experiment.JuPaul wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 9:25 amAre you hunting mushrooms or cultivating them? Good luck this year! We've only found lion's mane once in our woods, but it was delicious! Maitake are a favorite of ours to hunt in the fall - we've got 4 trees that produce each year...so far.bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 12:42 pmI have only done shiitake. Wartstein, do you work or are you just a man of leisure? You always seem to be recreating (and I'm jealous).

That is crazy! Great minds, right?
It's like having two knives in one! But seriously, I like ti on one side and g10 on the other, like on the Domino.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 6:14 pmI've officially lost my mind lol. I actually like the mismatched scales.

Yeah, now that you mention it I see what you're saying... I just took the laminate S90V/CPM-154 blade out swapped it with my Native5 LW Rex45 blade, they are both absolutely perfect in their respective new homes.
I'm not hating! I love when people customize their knives to their own liking. I find it funny when people are scared disassemble a knife...it's a very simple task!
