Rainy day Rexy. As an aside, my BIL brought an old army buddy to our property today, and I noticed a spoon clip hanging from his pocket. Of course I asked, and he pulled out a stainless steel Delica. So obviously he and I will be friends. :D

Good for you Julia! Best luck I've had in those situations are guys with Benchmade's or Kershaw's. Otherwise... it's gas station knives in their pockets. Yet to meet another Spyder nut in the wild!

He'd never seen a Manix before, so there's definitely work to be done, but it was still pretty cool. :p

Delica on a rather low mountain peak, that still offers a nice view...

Could be that this is my last mountain/ knife pic for quite some time, since they're starting to implement bans on leaving the house here in Austria to try and avoid a horrible (Corona-) situation like the one in Italy...
But, though hard to imagine right now, of course I am fine with staying at home with my Spydies ;) as long as it contributes to save lifes of weakened and elderly persons.

Pic 2: Cross on the top of that mountain (most peaks in the alps have those)

If we get stuck inside, at least all our knives will be very sharp and clean at the end of this. ;)

On a rex kick this weekend. Really loving it, and I just can't say enough good things about the Shaman. I freakin' love this model, in all the versions I have.

First time I've seen that one around since it dropped! I sadly couldn't warm up to those scales though. Really wanted to love that knife!

I'm thinking about carrying my swapped Rex45 Manix this week, since a couple weeks ago I really didn't get to use my PM2. Also debating the Crucarta Shaman to compare to the 4V from last week...sometimes it sucks having so many options!! No idea how people with 30+ knives can do this!! Hard as heck with only 20

I'll admit I was being a little protective of the rexwood, but I decided I needed to get over that today and play with it outside.

If you're accepting votes for this week, mine goes to the Crucarta Shaman. I want to hear how you like the 4v vs cruwear on that model, and since the 4v is fresh in your mind...

I'm liking the worn in look of these micarta scales lately!

I don't usually carry a hank, but it in these hard times I'd rather be prepared having emergency, reusable toilet paper... ;)
