The best Spyderco value folder design wise. It deserves the CTS-BD1N treatement if you ask me.

Starting a new job today. Still dredging, but I'll be working on the beach (bulldozer operator) instead of out in the ocean. No more rope cutting, and probably less cutting in general (but we'll see, as I'm not sure what to expect yet - every company is different and I may be getting out of the machine often to help with random tasks). And most of all, NO MORE LOSING KNIVES OVERBOARD!!!! For the first time I have the opportunity to carry DLC models from Cold Steel and Spyderco side by side. Due to vast differences in steel, geometry, the coating itself, and other factors, any comparisons made between these models will essentially be apples to oranges. But, I'm hoping that after a few months of use I can get a feel for the differences. I will jump at the chance to use the Shaman, but if there are any situations where edge damage seems imminent, I will be reaching for the Broken Skull. Despite the Shaman being a tank, I like it far too much to allow it to get damaged. While XHP is far more corrosion resistant than 4V, both knives will be carried in the same pocket and thus exposed to the same amount of salt air. Incidents of excessive exposure to salt will be noted, and I'll try to avoid such occurrences using the Shaman.

Haha, that's a front end loader. But I'll be running one of those too, just without a blade. It has forks like a forklift but also upper class for grabbing pipe.
