Went camping in the mountains and didn't take a single knife picture. Just gives me an excuse to go out again.

Is that one of the new flytanium cages? It looks great! If so, what do you think? Do you like it? And is it grippy like the stock ones?

I was thinking of getting a Ti one and a ceramic ball for mine. Plus they have some new delica backspacers I’m itching to know more about

Out of the eight lying openly around momentarily, I still choose this one more often than not... ;)

I’m back to ol’ faithful, my M4 para 3! The urban AEB-L is riding backup. The delica served its purpose on vacation to the unfriendly NE. I find I don’t much care for it, it’s just a bit too compact in hand.

Nice scales! The color and pattern look great, and the handle shape is the same mod I do to Tasman Salts to let them fit my grip better.

Surprise surprise.

I got this Pacific Salt dirt cheap. The edge was completely blunt and had been sharpened by someone who had no idea what they were doing. I've been carefully thinning out the tip with my dremel (I never go all the way to the tip with it, I do that with benchstones). Also bringing the edge back to an even 15 degrees with my diamond rods. I got it most the way there then put a quick and sloppy 20 degree microbevel on with the brown rods, and it slices real nice now. Once I've finished cleaning up the tip I plan to work the edge on the diamonds some more, then take my time and get it properly sharp.

I've been using it with that rough edge as my dedicated cardboard knife at the house. The edge isn't as pretty as my black Pacific Salt but it slices cardboard nicely.

On shorter runs in the woods I sometimes bring a small Tomahawk for throwing it into dead trees and tree stumps. It's fun!
And my Endela was with me IWB. It's such a great folder..

[EDIT: Deleted the pic. Seeing it on my laptop (not phone): Too huge and too badly out of focus... :o )
