That mirror finish on that Maxmet is beautiful! I'd be afraid to use it

Nice to see you keeping that Para 3 around. I thought it would be a trial knife for me, but I can't let it go either! BD1N is one of the easiest steels for me to sharpen. I love it. Also nice to see it in comparison with the Lil Native. Didn't realize how small it actually was. Thanks for posting that!

I can't believe how long it's lasted. I know everyone says Maxamet is better with a toothy edge but I'm more than happy than the way it performs polished. Maxamet especially with Spyderco's stone polished finish is amazing! I live 150' from the ocean, wear it IWB, have left it sweaty several times overnight and no rust or patina so far.
Good stuff!

Got it the day before yesterday, really liked it from the first moment on, and it still keeps growing on me... I guess it won´t leave my pocket for quite some time now...

Still recovering from knee surgery , but I received my flytanium copper scales yesterday. So I was able to upgrade my fidget spinner.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Decided to carry a couple similar sized, super slicey knives today. This WE Knives Wisp has been on my radar for quite a while. I did want one with a satin blade, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to snag a $245 knife for under $200, so I jumped one this one. Super light titanium scales with thick carbon fiber inlays. I always loved how slicey the Delica Pakkawood Hap40 blade is, so I figured I'd love this thin S35VN blade on the Wisp as well. I won't be doing any serious cutting with it, but wanted to see how these two compared for me and my needs. One thing I did notice when the blades are closed, as you can see in the pic...there is a lot of blade length to be desired in the Delica!

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Haven't carried my hawkbill ladybug in awhile. Figured I'd change that
Figured I'd post the 2 hawks together. Spyderhawk is always with me. I just don't always show it

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
... Quite the same is true for the Endela (though a bit less blade length is "missing" proportionwise, compared to the Delica) and really the only single small criticism I have concerning that knife...

Testing out something different. Diamond sharpmaker rods in the 15 degree slots, no microbevel or grit progression. Tried to minimize the burr to the point it'd pop off arm hairs without touching the skin. This should be the most aggressive edge I've put on a Spyderco.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Holy Cow Sir!! Just looking at that edge makes me feel like it's cutting into my eyeballs.....in a good way. :)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Endela once more... love it, if its blade was just 5 to 8 mm longer (and more handle-filling by that), it could even compete with my Stretch 1s...
