Absolutely not Peter! I just enjoy seeing some dirty knives from time and time. I feel like I've seen the Ikuchi some 200 times the past couple weeks! I get it, everyone is excited about their new knives and rightfully so. But that thing is dominating lately haha.

My love of this G10 Manix is really starting to make me contemplate buying that KW exclusive while it's still available. 52100 steel, DLC coated blade AND LINERS, Grey G10. I'm really surprised that knife is NEVER posted on here, such a great looking knife!

I’ve been carrying my 52100 Manix for the last couple of weeks and agree, it’s a great looking and performing blade. I haven’t taken the time to learn how to post pics so I haven’t brought it up.

Right on! I have a couple left that don’t see much use, but they do get used on special occasions. Basically, I had fallen pretty deep into the spydiehole, and was buying them, exactly like you said, just to own them, So I made the decision last year to thin the collection, and started selling every model I hadn’t used or wasn’t going use. Even some I did use. Very tough. Lost a bit of money on a few models too. But I think it really helped me appreciate, not only the ones I chose too keep, but also what features and designs I actually like in a knife. I’m also able to focus more on other aspects of this hobby, rather than how “big/cool/rare” my collection was, or when the next new release was.

I hear ya man. I've got 15 at the moment, 3 that I don't keep on my displays to debate for daily carry because they are strictly my camping/landscaping knives.

I've got 2 display stands that hold 6 knives each and have told myself I don't need any more than 12 to choose from for daily carry. It's gotten EXTREMELY tough to narrow them down now when I acquire a new model, because each of my current 12 hold a place for me. Very satisfied with my collection at the moment.

It's also been a bit of a blessing though, as I've cycled through various models/sizes/steels...I feel like I'm able to determine based on looks or size of a knife whether it will work for me or not. Justifying to yourself is always difficult!! To make room for the Smock, I decided to sell the BHQ exclusive Manix/DLC. Told myself, I already have the DLT exclusive that I absolutely love and the LW model as an outdoor knife. My BHQ Para 3 M4/DLC is my favorite Para 3 and I don't need a Manix in the same configuration. That was my most difficult sale thus far, because I loved that knife :(

It's such a good looking and comfortable knife in hand! I just bought the Blue Weave Domino a couple months ago and can't stop messing with it. Haven't carried the Taichung masterpiece because I'm gifting it to my "adopted" son when he graduates Marine basic on the 26th!

Probably end up with the BBS CTS-204P Domino eventually!

Reached for my Swick for some chores this morning, then decided to keep carrying it all day.

Wonder when we'll hear more news about the Swick 5?

I got it about a week ago, too. With some places selling it for $147 now, I think more people should check it out. There's only 1 or 2 reviews of it on YouTube from small channels. Not many people are looking at this gem.
