Today I’m carrying a Para 3 (m390)...oh and this...
New Nirvana. I know it’s not totally Spyderco related but I couldn’t help but share. I wonder if Spyderco will ever do a Nirvana 2?

Well, I don't talk about it because I don't have one. This is actually HAP40 Endurabbselement wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 5:08 pmLove that knife anycal! How is the edge retention on V-Toku? Nobody talks about it.
I am curious as well. How it compare to HAP40, would be a good comparison. To me, HAP40 is very similar in edge retention to stainless like 20CV. But purely a guess.

Thanks for sharing real world experience with V-Toku. Sorry to get off topic. Plus the knife pictured is HAP40, good griefMarulaghost wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 9:59 pmGot my Dfly on Christmas. I have yet to sharpen it.
I strop it regularly though. With a block and some compound it'll shave what few hairs i have on my arms.
If I'm in a pickle I'll just use my jeans and the difference is noticeable

I didn’t expect to like the Dice as much as the Domino. I’ve been all about the titanium RIL (frame lock) lately, and I found a Dice for a nice price I picked it up more to see how I feel about it, but now that I’ve got it, I think I might prefer it over the larger sized Domino. Especially when paired with the Pac salt.
Vivi, I have yet to try a Spyderco in SE, but I’ve been eyeing the Pac salt 2/Dragonfly 2 in SE and will most likely have one of the two be my first. I am especially intrigued by the Dragonfly 2 salt w/ hawkbill shape blade. But yes, I adore H1 for its sharpen-ability! Never once been caught with it dull, so edge retention is perfect for me. Regular touch ups are perfect for me, since I haven’t been sharpening my blades for very long and I like the practice. I grew up dealing with that “working edge” hahaha...my SAK was up for the task, until I turned 18 and bought more knives. I’m now 30, and only recently learned to sharpen knives. It is incredible, and I wish I learned sooner!

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I'm gonna do a review in a week or two after I've had a chance to use it more. But so far I'm liking it, glad I took a chance on it.
