Slow day at work. No, that's not whiskey in the glass...

Man, that looks like good times lol. May I ask how your Cruwear PM2 performs as a carver? And is that a mirrored edge you have or do mine eyes deceive me? PM2 is my absolute favorite model, and I’ve been using my pair of 52100’s for all sorts of tasks, one with a patina for reactive materials and the other for everything else. There’s nothing that steel won’t laugh off! Although with the praise everyone here seems to lavish on Cruwear I’m very tempted to try it out, maybe pick up one of those new exclusives and swap out the scales for something a little more snazzy than smooth black G10
My collection so far: 52100 Military (2); 52100 PM2 (2); 52100 Para3; Stretch2 V-Toku; KnifeWorks M4 PM2; BentoBox M390 PM2; BentoBox S90V Military; Police4 K390; S110V PM2; SS Delica AUS-6; Wayne Goddard Sprint VG-10
Wish list: Hundred Pacer; Sliverax; Mantra; 52100 PM2 SE; Kapara

Thanks Jazz, maybe you should take a look to the Manix with back lock...it has all the features you are looking for.

I have it. I like the looks of yours too.
- best wishes, Jazz.

Carver? As good as any, I guess. A 3+ inch blade is second nature to me, so anything I can do with a smaller knife, I am comfortable doing with my PM2. Had a knife of this size as my primary blade since the early 90's.

The edge is a bit shiny, but I haven't re profiled it yet. It is just from using the fine and ultra fine tri-stones (free hand) to do touch ups.

PM2 is my favorite as well. Get the Cruwear from KC while it is available. It is a great steel. I swapped the scales; the gray ones are actually from the Maxamet.

Gratuitous pic,
