It works and it doesn’t. Opening is fast and secure; still getting used to the handle distance. But when closed, the tip of the hawkbill rubs against the signet ring. This will dull the tip eventually. Wonder if this is the same for the Matriarch with signet ring as well.

Always wanted a light, rustproof Karambit. This seems to be as close as it gets for now.

manix 2 lw in cts-xhp (main carry knife - right pocket)
pacific salt se (in case i end up at the beach - iwb)
dragonfly 2 salt se (backup/cute, sheeple friendly blade - left pocket)

maybe it’s overkill, but it makes sense to me.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

I'm currently on a bicycle tour. I loaded up a tarp & hammock on my road bike and hit the road. I've been doing 100+ miles a day through the Carolinas, visiting Charlotte, Rock Hill, Charleston, Asheville and more.

I brought my trusty PE Pacific Salt for my trip. Sharpened it at 15 degrees per side with a medium grit finish until it popped hair. I'm using it mostly for food and trimming back foliage at camp spots. Shouldn't have any issues holding its edge.

Stole this bronze clip idea from another member. What a difference maker compared to that polished clip.

That's a very kind offer of you, thank you. I'll PM you.

Pacific Salt again, of course. This is how I carry it:
