First post, but latest Spyderco - Native 5 in G10. Heavier than I expected. Also have a Shaman incoming. Looks sweet.

Native 5 with G10 scales!

#11126

Post by MikeLip »

The Native just arrived and I think it's my new EDC. The blade is just right. I love the G10 scales. The knife sits heavy in the pocket for some reason, but it's not particularly large or heavy. One of those mysteries I guess. Crappy pic but hey, it's lunchtime and I'm grabbing some non-business time on my companies network.

So far it's been my favorite other than the baby Jess Horne and Jess Horne. Oh and the Chapparal :) There is a lot of competition for pocket space around here.

This regrind makes the Breeden so much more useful with fine detail cutting. Further modifications coming soon.

I walked into a local brick & mortar store today with a clipless Positron in my pocket.

They had just received a 40th anniversary Native (we're a bit late to the game here in Africa) and were wanting, at current exchange rates, the equivalent of $1,000 for it (including tax admittedly). I can assure you that I definitely didn't leave with that in my pocket!!

Hundred pacer today. Wow!! What a blade. I love it!! Also have the roadie with me, as well as an ark around my neck, and the h1 manbug on my keys. I'm set for the day. Thanks Spyderco for keeping me sharp and safe daily!
:bug-red-white I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!
