2013, first actual Spyderco was an Ambitious that I returned to purchase a Squeak. Just got a Delica 4 Foliage Green CE. Prior to the Ambitious, I owned a Byrd Flight and Cara Cara 2 FRN.
Current carry: Spyderco Squeak or Spyderco Pingo (Back right pocket), Paramilitary 2 Black G10 (front right pocket)

Future wants: Karahawk

Late 80's. I saw an article about Spyderco knives in a gun magazine, and bought a Standard/Economy from a knife store in a mall. A few years later I bought an SE Endura, then an early SharpMaker. That was all the Spyderco's I needed until 2009, I misplaced mine and started looking around on the web for a replacement, found this forum, and it's been all downhill ever since :) .

My first product from Spyderco was a Sharpmaker and it was around millenium-change IIRC. In 2005 the addiction went on with Military and Delica.

My first 2 were a Delica with the molded clip and a C37 - Michael Walker Lightweight in 1996. Sliced the crap out of my finger with the Walker on Christmas Day 1996. Oh the memories!

A SE Delica "1" Clipit G-2; probably in the beginning of 1994, on the first time I went to the USA. Broke the tip, but I still have it. I *think* I also bought a smaller Spyderco (ladybug?) as a gift for a friend in the same occasion.

Mine was a Manix 2 in 2009. For years I thought Spydercos looked weird because of the hole. Shows what I know.

2005, Walmart PE Native. I later took it back to Walmart because I saw another Native at Bass Pro Shop and it had the Spyder logo and all the extra print on the blade, and I started to think that somehow Walmart was selling either a cheapo version or a knockoff, so I returned the Walmart knife and paid almost 3x as much for the SE Native that I still have to this day. Had I known then that the Walmart knife was legit, I would've bought 3 of them.

Whatever year the Salsa came out. I bought it directly from Spyderco and paid full MSRP. I still have it to this day, although it is retired.

SS SE Police in 1997, but I didn't fully embrace the brand until I got a Military around 1999-2000.

Probably sometime around 1989 or 1990. It was a fully serrated edge Spyderco Endura. G2 blade steel and integral molded clip that eventually snapped off.

The Endura still remains my favorite overall model. I currently have at least 3 that I know of. Possibly one or two more. Genuinely not sure.

1991 ... C10 Endura w/GIN 1 full Spyderedge
NIB $39 at a gun show ... seemed a bit pricey back then, I laugh about it now.
I spend 4x - 8x that much today.

Spring or early summer of 92. An Endura. A Delica followed shortly after which I gave to my brother, then a student with no money. Last I saw him about 2 months ago he still has it. I bought him a nice new FFG VG10 new model but he gave that to his son and kept the old one.

I bought 2 Enduras (one plain, one SE) in about '98 or '99 maybe. They were impossible to get over here and internet shopping was still relatively new (for me at least) so when I went on vacation to the US it was something I made sure to pick up.

May 3, 2010 - Caly 3 (carbon fiber) from Amazon.com. Three years later, I've got over 50 Spydies.

Most of them here:
