A little more green in my pocket.

Hey guys,
I just added to my collection of green scaled Spydercos!
Image
The new Goddard sprint just found its way into my pocket yesterday.
I always wanted one of the original releases back when I first got into knives, but the PS blade was the one thing, besides a lack of funds, that kept me from getting one.
I missed out on one of the baby Goddard's because of procrastination on my part, but finally got one of the newer sprint runs about a year ago.
The new lightweight sprint with od frn was a must have as soon as I heard about it.
I've not really had a chance to use it much, but it feels great in the hand.
Thanks to Sal and the Spydie crew for putting out this great blade, and allowing me to get one of the knives that I've always wanted.
Later,
Don

Hey Jack,
It blends in with so many different things.
Thanks!

You're definitely right. And my apologies if I sounded critical, I was going for a Kermit the Frog joke.

I actually had a bunch of FG knives at one point. I'm just down to an Urban and DF. The green is very versatile.

Very nice collection of green knives! I used to have more green ones (Rock Lobster and Khukuri) but had to let those go to free up funds and I'm down to only my ZDP Ladybug, but planning to get the Forum Native when it gets released! I like the green more on the FRN than the G-10 though, much darker and blends better IMO.

Very nice! FG has really grown on me lately, and I now regret selling my FG Manix 2. But I've been enjoying my Goddard sprint too.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the kind comments!
Green is my favorite color, over half my shirts and coats are some shade of green or camo.
I didn't even think about my modded Manix 2 with digicam scales, or my Tenacious with od canvas micarta scales.
BTW Jack, no need for an apology, I got the Kermit reference. Hence the line of the song, "It blends in with so many different things."
Thanks again.

Hey guys,
I actually got the line of the song wrong.
It should be, "It blends in with so many ordinary things."
My bad.

I completely missed that one. I'm going to blame it on a really long week instead me not being nearly as clever as I think I am. Yeah... Let's go with that.

That's a respectable collection of green.

I had similar thoughts about the partially serrated edge on the original... that's why I got one of the plain edge ones...

Nice collection of green. I recently got a Rookie sprint and the green G-10 is a very versatile handle color.
