took the whole knife apart and with a 1/8th drill bit put small holes down the "Back spacer".

then I mixed GLO inc. powder and epoxy.

takes about 10 minutes to dry. then sand it all down smooth and put it back together. makes it a little easier to find in tall grass at night

Looks great. I didn't know you could get powder and mix it like that. I thought it came in solid form that needed to be cut to fit wherever you wanted it. Now I'm thinking of things to do with it. Engrave something in a knife handle (or anywhere) and fill it in with powder/epoxy.

To the OP..nice job. Did you make that clip or buy it?

I did that on my jumpmaster. They have blue powder too but it doesn't glow as long as the yellow/green.

Wasn't expecting the second pic, looks nice! I've heard of people filling in the extra pocket clip holes with the GITD/epoxy combo but haven't ever thought of putting it in the back spacer.

One thing I couldn't help but notice. Don't know about where you are but Back To The Future movies (all 3) have been on TV here A LOT. That's ok. I enjoy them. Not the best movies but I have them in a 3 disk set as well as I recorded them onto DVD when they were on TV. Don't know what made me think of those movies when I saw your thread. :)

That's not one of those white "NASA" Delicas, is it? If it is, your mods probably made it worth an extra $25,000!

Yeah, that mod is pretty slick! i like those kinds of mods where they are very subtle yet profound at the same time.

I want to ask if it matters how deep you drill the holes? Would a thin layer, say 1/16" deep perform the same as a hole 1/4" deep? Would the smaller amount not glow as long or not be as bright? Since I saw your knife I see all sorts of things around the house I can drill holes in to make them have glowing dots. Maybe the legs of tables so you can see them when it's dark instead of kicking them with your pinky toe. :( :)

In your statement about blue powder you said the yellow/blue glows longer. Is the yellow/green a mixture of the two colors or did you mean that blue doesn't glow as long as yellow and green colors seperatly? I ask because I like yellow and green both and would like to get both if they are seperate products. The way you wrote it my first thought is it's one product.

Thanks,
Jack
