Doll Knife

Postby MountainManJim » Sun Apr 21, 2013 1:56 pm

Hey all, check out the following pictures. My wife was inspired to make some doll knife props for her doll modeling photo shoots. She used “Shrinky Dink” plastic and the Spyderco Dragonfly wooden knife kit as a pattern to make this doll size knife.

What I think is cool is that she made the blade serrated, that the knife folds and more or less locks and she added the tattoo design to the scale. Pretty cool.

Below are some comparison pictures:

That's a pretty neat idea, Jim. :) Please pass along my compliments to your wife. Maybe you could suggest a Ti-fluted Millie for her next project! :D

Reminds me of the movie "Chucky". Still gives me the shivers seeing a doll with a knife...

That's some cool stuff Mountain Man, but seriously, you don't have to
say that your "wife" has been playing with dolls. We understand.

Seriously though, she does some great work.

It's not often we see something new. This is a new one for me. I think it's really cool. Nice work too. Hope she gets to read this thread.
