I have had this knife for 3 months... and I have sharpened it on a sharpmaker only, but I can not get an edge to hold, it seems to roll really easy... i love the knife but am getting frustrated any advice

40 degrees along the edge... I use it for everything, it seems to always be with me especially when i cant have a bigger knife... like at work

I carry a vg10 dragonfly everyday, I have a 30 degree back bevel and a 40 degree cutting edge.
It loses it's shaving edge after a few pieces of card board but it holds a working edge for a good while.

You may need to check your bevels. Try the sharpie trick and see where you are hitting the edge on the sharpmaker.

Agree, you can make a mark with a sharpie alongthe edge and see how you
are removing the mark with you sharpmaker strokes. The sharpmaker is a great
tool, but it takes a consistent stroke both ways. (I guess that I can say that)
