Looking for a flipper

#1

Post by Kev83 »

I was going through my knives and realized somehow I don't have any knives with a "flipper" style opening. I'd like to pick one up and have been looking but I know for sure the spyderco southard and ZT 0560 are a little more than I was wanting to spend although if I happened to have that much extra cash to throw around they'd be up there when it came to choice. So my question to you is, what's a good flipper for at or under $100? The kershaw cryo and cryo 2 are catching my eye lately.

Just FYI, this should be in Off Topic.

I like RJ Martin's designs for Kershaw a lot. I could live without their speedsafe AO.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Which of the ones recommended would be the knockoffs?

I would say save up for the Domino.

The Kershaw R.A.M. is my favorite flipper of theirs.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Kershaw Skyline... ranks up with the Delica for a EDC knife.
Spyderco please make a wire clip version of the Manbug/Ladybug!
