Check out this new Victorinox Folder. It looks similiar to the Spyderco Centofante, and has a nice swedge to it and grind.

It's a midlock, and the blade shape is somewhat similar, but it's a fairly common lock and a fairly common blade shape. The blade lacks the Centofante's sharply angular transition between the spine and thumb ramp and the handle shape is totally different. Vaguely similar, perhaps, but certainly not a knockoff.

Where did you find that? My initial reaction is fake. Not very SAK-like since is on a completely different frame than the 111 mm Sentinel or similar one bladed Vic's.

Introduced at Shot Show 2013. Victorinox Outdoorsman.
I wonder if they licensed the opening hole?

If it's like the opening hole on the Sentinel, and it appears to be, then it's oval. AFAIK, nobody has dibs on oval opening holes.

I am curious on how the new Victorinox will be in hand. But I dont see it to be too simillar to the Cento. My favourite Victorinox is probably the limited OH Tracker.

That knife looks nice! Now is the time for Spyderco to release their tool/knife pocket knives, tit for tat.

It will be a good knife. Victorinox always makes good stuff. I prefer their SwissTool over the Leatherman and their knives are always top quality.
