Request for an unrestricted H1 Autonomy

#1

Post by KardinalSyn »

I know, I know; it has not even hit the shelves and here's a request for a non-auto version.

I think it would be a good knife for us folk who can't get the current autonomy and a great addition to the already available rescue knives.

Just trying to figure out what, aside from a much higher price, a manual Autonomy would offer that the current Atlantic Salt doesn't.

With the screwed construction it's easier than ever to mod too. I would see if STR can do G10 construction for one.

Edit: Or the Jumpmaster. Perhaps the coolest rescue blade besides the Whale Rescue one :)

G10 construction over FRN, the way the point of the knife is, handle ergos and I was hoping for a lower price with the manual version. There is something very unique, for the lack of a better word, in the way how the Autonomy looks.

I hear ya and add a big +. I asked the same question in a thread a few weeks ago. I'm just not a big fan of FRN and really was attracted to the Autonomy as a H-1 w/ G-10 rescue knife.
